Chinese New Year Yee Sang Banquet @ Vistana Hotel Bukit Jambul Penang


时间过得很快,还剩下两个星期的时间,2016年农历新年又要来临了。

今年Vistana Hotel Bukit Jambul推出了3套8道菜。当然,酒店的负责人也说顾客可以依自己的喜好来设计8道菜肴

这次的菜单是由拥有超过35年丰富烹饪经验的香港中餐主厨-吴永霖带领Vistana于吉隆坡关丹和槟城的中餐团队,为大家呈献新春贺年套餐与超值捞生晚宴。

新年一定要捞生,当晚Vistana的捞生还有几片的生鱼片为配料,鱼生味道中规中矩。



Braised Pumpkin Soup with Assorted Seafood

第二道的红烧南瓜海鲜汤取代了惯有的鱼翅。金黄色的南瓜汤很抢眼,里头有豆腐块、虾仁和肉碎,以南瓜汁为汤头,味道甜甜的,虾仁和肉碎增添了口感。原本以为这碗南瓜汤会很普通,结果我们对它另眼相看。


Steamed Red Lion (Red Snapper) with Superior Soya Sauce

清蒸红狮(红鲷鱼)的鱼肉蛮新鲜,原本以为配上高级酱油就会更提味,结果发现酱油味有些过淡。



Roasted Chicken with Mushroom Gravy

这道烤鸡反而深得我们的喜爱。香脆的烤鸡配上蘑菇汁,鸡肉滑嫩,鸡皮炸得香脆,而蘑菇汁的浓度恰好,这样搭配来吃很绝配。



Deep Fried Crispy Prawns with Yellow Beans and Mayo

我们蛮喜欢这道炸脆虾,不需剝壳,而且虾肉蛮鲜甜。


Braised Garden Vegetables with Assorted Mushrooms

每次吃宴会,我最期待的就是这道红烧蔬菜和蘑菇,厨师采用了白菜、椰菜花、花菜、萝卜、金针菇和蘑菇。


Wok Fried Rice with Anchovies and Chicken

这道炒饭味道有点清淡,不过加上那些脆口的迷你江鱼仔,就较添味。



Glutinous Rice Balls in Ginger Soup

最后我们以汤圆甜点画为句点。当晚的汤圆里头还有黑芝麻为馅,加上以姜为底的糖水,还有些红枣增甜味,让我们喝得津津有味。
