从2015年4月1日至2015年4月30日,槟城伊斯廷酒店(Eastin Hotel Penang)推出了以泰国餐为主题的自助餐 (Buffet Lunch) - Songkran Sawadee Pee Mai,此自助餐位于一楼的Swez Brasserie。
这泰国自助餐供应时间是由星期一至星期五,中午12时至下午2时半。

Price: RM 62+ (Adult) RM 31+ (Child)

Songkran Sawadee Pee Mai的泰国自助餐前菜有的是Yam Talap、Nuae Yang Nam Tok、Yam Hua Plee Sai Goong和Lam Gai。
众多的前菜里,Nuae Yang Nam Tok的牛肉嫩度适中,而Yam Talay海鲜沙拉里有好多鱿鱼、虾和肉,酸甜辣三种口味玩弄味蕾。最让我们刮目相看的则是Yam Hua Plee Sai Goong,看似平乏无味的冬粉,却发现这冬粉的柔软爽口、口感嚼劲十足。
说到泰国餐,一定要有冬阴功才算是吃泰国餐,在这里的Buffet Lunch,食客可以尝试两种汤-酸辣汤 (Tom Yam Goong) 和清辣汤 (Geang Juide Mara Sai Gai)。

Geang Juide Mara Sai Gai - Brittle Ground Soup with Chicken Bread Roll & Butter
Eastin Hotel毫无吝啬,当我舀起冬阴功汤 (Tom Yam Goong),惊觉里头有很多只虾,这成为了当晚的Buffet Lunch焦点之一。
Geang Juide Mara Sai Gai的味道则像似华人版的猪肚汤, 辣度刚好,喝起来有够劲的。
两者相比,我较喜欢后者。

众多的主餐里,我较喜欢Phat Khi Mao Kai,罗勒叶的香味让鸡肉碎提味,青咖喱鸡(Geang Keaw Whan Gai)与前者相比之下味道则较孙,总觉得青咖喱味道还不够浓郁。

红咖喱煸炒牛肉,红当当的辣椒,颜色带红,味道微辣,牛肉片蛮大片的,咬起来易断,还蛮不错。

这道日本豆腐较像中式菜肴,不像泰国煮法,味道也很清淡。

前者是煎红鲷鱼配与蚝油汁,后者则是甜酸酱炸鱼肉。红鲷鱼较有肉感,不过我却喜欢甜酸酱的味道,较开胃!
Kao Phad Poo - Fried Steamed Rice with Crab Meat
蟹肉炒饭配Phat Khi Mao Kai,简直是完美的搭配!
Tab Tim Krob- Water Chestnut with Jackfruit in Coconut Syrup
Sakhuu Piak Maphrao Awn- Sago Pudding with young Coconut Flesh
对于泰国人而言,甜品就像冬阴功,缺一不可。我很喜欢他们的泰国甜品,尤其是Tab Tim Krob和Sakhuu Piak Maphrao Awn。石榴冰 (Tab Tim Krob)是荸荠在糖浆与椰奶的甜品,而Sakhuu Piak Maphrao Awn则是青椰西米露布丁,两者的味道都很清甜,解暑的佳品!
Kao Neaw Mamuang- Mango Sticky Rice
这里的泰式芒果糯米饭弄成迷你型,浓浓的椰香与芒果香混合,甜味浸入心灵,芒果肉厚味甜。
Packthong Sangkaya- Steamed Egg Custard in Pumpkin
觉得这道椰浆南瓜蒸蛋不够甜味,如果这道甜品还保持该有的温度的话,我想味道应该会更好。
