Daiso, new Japan store in Queensbay

Daiso is the largest franchise of 100-yen shops in Japan owned by Daiso Sangyo Corp. Daiso has a range of over 100,000 goods, of which over 40 percent are imported goods, many of them from China.
Daiso sets itself apart from other 100 yen shops by choosing not to sell closeout or factory second merchandise. Instead, they keep prices low by purchasing directly from manufacturers in very high volume, a strategy often compared to Wal-mart.  -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daiso-

There was a YEN shop in Komtar last time, but I think it is closed.

I was surprised to see a new shop opened last Saturday when the way I walked to Maybank.
Daiso, a Japanese store selling a variety of products, ranging from household goods to hobby materials, stationery and school and office supplies, at the amazingly low price of RM5 only.

Maybank is opposite of Daiso (1st floor of Queensbay).

Shoepoint is just beside of it.

There are many signboards showing that EVERYTHING is in RM5, so it won't be any price tags to be found but when you are buying your purchase item(s), the cashier will count your payment by the quantity of your selected item(s).

I saw it is owned by AEON CO. (M) Sdn Bhd. Then I google search for the information about Daiso, AEON is one of the main clients of Daiso.

For me, not every items is really worth to be RM5, but it is worth that there are many choices of Japan imported coffee, if you are a coffee lover, you can have a try by purchasing few of it.

Here is the link of Daiso's website.
